Pittsburgh Quarterly Wins Best Magazine at the 60th Annual Golden Quill Awards – Journal Important Internet

For the 18^th year in a row, metropolis Quarterly was judged Western Pennsylvania’s prizewinning entrepot in the 60^th annual Golden Quill Awards.  Pittsburgh Quarterly led every magazines by a panoramic margin, success 12 Golden Quills, including Best of Show, in the oppose sponsored by the Press Club of Western Pa. and judged by out-of-town journalists.

In most Golden Quill categories, media outlets are judged against kindred media outlets.  IE production vs. newspaper, entrepot vs. entrepot and TV send vs. TV station, etc.   In a diminutive sort of categories, however, every indicant media outlets in the location contend head-to-head.  Pittsburgh Quarterly won threesome much Golden Quills including: Best News or Feature Illustration – justice Marsula for “Missing Pieces;”  Best Editorial Cartoon – Evangelist Kichi, “Climate Change;” and Best Feature Photo – Gospels Malkiewicz, “All Aboard.” 

Pittsburgh Quarterly won figure another Golden Quill Awards – more than half of the 17 awards won by every regional magazines including:

Traditional Feature: “The Great Chocolate-Eating Contest of Kathmandu,” Bill Zlatos.

Criticism: Stuart Sheppard Portfolio 1, royalty Sheppard.
