Company behindhand Salt Life, Soffe closes quaternary NC manufacturing facilities after insolvency – Journal Today Internet

CONCORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Nearly two-dozen grouping are losing their jobs locally, and hundreds statewide after the consort behindhand the Salt Life beachwear sort shutters its facilities. 

According to the N.C. Department of Commerce, Delta Apparel Inc. is approaching manufacturing plants in Cabarrus, general and vocalist counties, trenchant Aug. 29. There are 22 jobs existence eliminated at the Concord positioning on Corporate Drive.

On June 30, the Georgia-based consort declared it filed for Chapter 11 insolvency endorsement and has begun to delist from the New royalty Stock Exchange. 

Delta is famous for the once-popular Salt Life and Soffe brands.
