SAINT CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio (WTRF) — Road Home Animal Project celebrated its 10th anniversary on Saturday.

Community members and their pups had the opportunity to check out food and craft vendors, listen to live music, and have their dogs examined by the New Horizon Animal Hospital.

Rescue Center board member Abbey Bennett says their organization is all about rehoming animals in need, and she is thankful for how much the community has supported them over the years.

“Every single dollar goes back into the animals we help but to be able to help the community and raise awareness about who we are, about what we do, is really unmatched.”

Abbey Bennett, Board member for the Road Home Animal Project

“I’m doing rabies vaccines and helping a little bit with microchips, drawing some blood and running 4DX tests which are for Lyme disease, heartworms, Ehrlichiosis, and Anaplasmosis. Around here Lyme disease is by far what we see the most of.”

Jim Moore, veteran at New Horizon Animal Hospital

Bennet says no matter what problems your dog may have; please reach out to the Road Home Animal Project to give you and your furry friend the best chance of success.
